Jolanda Poots-Bijl

Chief Financial Officer; Member Management Board and Executive Committee

Jolanda Poots-Bijl joined Ahold Delhaize on August 14, 2023 as Executive Vice President Finance and Member of the Executive Committee. She began her role as Chief Financial Officer on October 2, 2023 after her induction period.

Jolanda is an all-round executive with more than 20 years of boardroom experience. She has served as a member of global operating supervisory and executive boards and she has worked in various industries and stakeholder settings including listed, private equity, family-owned and government organizations. Prior to her current role, Jolanda was CFO at off-shore construction company Van Oord and she remains a member of the supervisory board of Pon Holdings (since 2018).

Over the years, Jolanda has gained substantial experience in ESG and compliance and in designing strategies that have transformed companies accordingly. Her experiences have also been enriched by non-executive roles with deep insights into retailing, transport and manufacturing and this also extends internationally with projects being based in Brazil, Asia and the Middle East.

Jolanda is currently a member of the Supervisory Board of Pon. She is a passionate leader with a reputation for building shared strategies that deliver through fact-based analytics and design which inspires people to go the extra mile to achieve goals.
